Hyperion project began August 2012 with the aim of bringing better user experience for everyone. The first version
of Hyperion release was version 6 (Hyperion 6 GM Final Public Build) and that is because the previous versions isn't
much of a success. From then, Hyperion has become one of the most successful ROMS ever made for Galaxy Y.

Forked from AOSP and CyanogenMod
-all resources are forked from AOSP and CM to make sure that the UI is consistent and uniform and follows the Holo design language with a touch of the infamous Hyperion's transparent framework

WHAT WE DON'T HAVE

AOSP lock screens
-it's cool but not that useful. Often times we rely on auto-lock feature for privacy concerns and more importantly, security. AOSP lock screens are insecure locks, so we eliminated it.

Extended Power Menu (EPM)
-this is still under review but one thing is sure for now, it's not include

HOW TO FLASH

NEW USERS
-follow this step by step guide if you are:

A new user. Completely zero know-how about flashing

An old user but coming from stock firmware and wants to do a complete clean flash

An old and lazy user who likes complaining rather than reading

Requirements:

Temporary CWM by Doky
-this is a recovery for flashing flashable zips such as ROMS, KERNELS, THEMES, ETC

Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360 device
-if this is not your device, stay away!

Hyperion ROM package
-obviously, please get it on 1st post

RIL Fix flashable zip: HYPERION-08.GM-RIL.FIX
-this is required if you will use a kernel that doesn't have a new RAMDisk. If you don't have a clue what it is, just flash this. Better have what you don't need than to need what you don't have.

Prepare for flashing:

Backup all your contents, contacts, messages, notes, recording, porns, etc

Drink a glass of water and no matter what happen, never ever ever freak out

Flash Hyperion + RIL Fix

Boot to Android System Recovery mode by pressing volume up key + home button + power key for 3 seconds or until you see the Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5360 screen

After that, immediately release the keys and press it again until the recovery shows up.

In recovery, select install zip from sd card.

After that, select TempCWM.zip from the list.

After that, you will then see ClockWorkMod Recovery with texts in yellow color.

In ClockWorkMod Recovery, select mounts and storage.

Mount /system, /data, cache.

Go back by pressing the power button or the back key.

Select advanced and debugging.

Select wipe dalvik cache and wipe batterystats.bin (optional).

Go back by pressing the power button or the back key.

Select wipe data/factory reset.

Select wipe cache.

Select install zip from sd card.

Select choose zip from sd card.

Select Hyperion zip package (HYPERION-08.GM-FINAL.zip).

Go to mounts and storage

Mount /system, /data, cache.

Select install zip from sd card

Select choose zip from sd card

Select RIL Fix package (HYPERION-08.GM-RIL.FIX.zip)

Go back by pressing the power button or the back key.

After that, reboot your phone.

OLD USERS:

You know what to do

You can flash this over any ROM but make sure you wipe everything

Use RIL Fix if your IMEI is missing after flash. You can get RIL Fix on third post or simply CLICK HERE you lazy bastard.

RIL FIX
-follow this step by step guide if you already flashed Hyperion before the RIL Fix was released
